Raw feeding is the most natural way to feed your pet and therefore an easy way to directly influence the well-being of your dog or cat.
Dogs eat their food raw out in the open air. In this way, the natural nutrients are preserved. When meat and bones are prepared, important bacteria and enzymes disappear. Bones that are prepared are dangerous for the dog, as they become hard and can easily be broken into sharp pieces. Raw bones are simply softer, and you can give them to your dog without having to worry.
Cats are obligate carnivores and are naturally adapted to get the majority of their fluids directly from meat, blood and internal organs. This is why cats in nature hardly drink any water, unless it is particularly hot weather. As a result, kidney and liver damage have unfortunately become common even in very young cats, as cats have not developed the ability to feel thirsty as much as a very dry and/or industrially processed diet would require. Raw pet food itself contains the necessary amount of fluids, so the cat does not need to drink water unless it wants to and in exceptionally hot weather or humid like Hong Kong.
